When I worked my tail off to walk again to the point to return to work on a super limited schedule, I started doing her hair in trade for LuLaRoe. We would talk marketing and advertising, since my job was promoting my business for 20 years. I started to think “I could do that”. It would be the perfect fit as my new normal was preventing me from working the long 14 hour days standing. So after debating for a over a year (not joking), I pulled the trigger.
Today, I am looking at celebrating my 3rd Lulaversary while at convention, and I am so grateful not only for the leggings that saved my life, but also for the job that helped me find myself again, and give me a new hope and focus. Now, I get to motivate women, help them feel beautiful, and be a driving force in many people’s lives to help them find their strength and confidence everyday. I also want to thank you on behalf of curvy women everywhere.
For years I have walked the plus-size sections and was so depressed. The sections are so small and not fashion forward or on trend at all. We struggle to find things that fit us and are made to shop in our own sections and back areas of stores. These clothes change lives. Everyday. I see women Light up and feel what I felt when I bought an Amelia after not wearing dresses AT ALL for 20+ years. I see it in their faces and it rocks me to my core EVERYTIME.
You have no idea what you’re doing for them. I am more than honored to say that I have got to model for a few photo shoots and represent these women. I, more than anything, want them to know they can feel confident, beautiful and worthy. Again, thank you for giving that to them. It’s more than just clothes. It’s a movement, it’s awesome, incredible, and I’m honored to be a part of it. This company not only saved my legs, but saved my life in one of the darkest times and I am forever grateful.
